Zen Clocks are made with a Japanese quartz movement and measure 8" high x 11" wide x 3" deep. They run on 4 "C" batteries (not included). Average battery life with everyday use is about 2 years. Each Zen Clock's 'E tone' chime has been hand-tuned to produce the same tone as the tuning forks used by musical therapists.
